Recognizing Our Employees Accomplishments


At Canon Information Technology Services, Inc. we believe in recognizing our employees’ accomplishments, so our team knows how much they contribute to our success. By creating various employee recognition awards, we ensure that our employees are engaged, motivated and rewarded for their hard work. Also, our recognition programs help us create a workplace culture where our employee grow and thrive.


Our goal is to create a great work environment for our employees and to do that we celebrate all of our employees’ accomplishments, big and small, from our Spirit award to HOSHI points. Read on to learn more about our different recognition programs.



Spirit Award


The Canon Spirit Award Program recognizes the outstanding efforts of Canon employees who make a positive difference for our Company, our coworkers and our customers. Employees can nominate themselves or other eligible Canon ITS employees to be recognized by the Canon as a "Spirit Award Winner."  The Spirit program is Canon’s way of thanking and honoring Canon Americas’ employees who strive to add value to Canon by going above and beyond their job responsibilities. Winners will receive an honorary plaque and gift selection and customarily participate in a dinner reception and awards banquet honoring all Canon winners at an offsite location within the U.S.


“MVP” - Most Valuable Person 


Our employees are always willing to go above and beyond to help our customers and our business succeed and we want to make sure their hard work is recognized and celebrated. With our MVP award, employees can nominate their co-workers throughout the year as MVP. All nominations are then reviewed by our Directors who select the individual(s) to be named MVP.  Selections are based on overall performance and contributions made to the organization. 


A Player and Winner’s Circle 


This program recognizes those employees who stand out because their performance results are in the top tier of their group. By continuing to excel in your role at Canon ITS, we reward employees with cash bonuses, recognition dinners, work from home benefits and much more! This program helps to inspire and motivate our employees to achieve their professional goals.


HOSHI Points 


We also celebrate our employees’ smaller achievements, like attendance, monthly job performance with our HOSHI points system. With HOSHI our employees can earn points and redeem these points for various gift cards to use at local and online retailers. We also use HOSHI rewards for internal competitions with our employee engagement programs.
